You all finally arrived at the giant tavern where the wedding was held.

"Maybe you can get to the bottom of this at the wedding."

"Maybe you could find your godmother." you replied to Elliot as you both entered inside.

You noticed all the giants were having a fun and great time. They're dancing with joy and frolic.

"Whoa."

"They're not so bad. I thought they'd be all so big and scary." Slannen commented before he bumped into a giant leg. Robin helped him up.

"Are you okay?" Robin asked.

"Didn't hurt." he answered.

You noticed the giants were not bad people, just like your mother said. You took a deep breath yet you were still worried.

"I hope the giants don't hate the royal family." you said.

"Don't worry. They'll respect your courage for showing up here. Besides, they don't hold grudges. They're bigger than that." Elliot explained.

And then, the giant owner of the tavern confronted you and Elliot, he then recognized you.

"Princess (Y/n). What are you doing here?"

You then began to hesitated, "I... Um..."

Of course you're meeting a giant for the very first time.

Elliot noticed your problem and took your place as he said, "She's here to hear your complaints. As a friend."

The giant tavern owner smiled and said, "Then welcome."

Elliot then asked the giant about his godmother named Lucinda Perriweather.

He then pointed at the direction where you both noticed three fairies having a drink with the other giants. One of them fell down from the table, after drinking so much.

Elliot went there as Robin joined Slannen. You were the only one standing as you stared at the giant. You gave a sheepish chuckle as you tried to talk with him.

"So... will you tell me your complaints, Sir..."

"Koopooduk." he replied.

You realized that his name was hard to pronounce, but you wanted to hear his complaints.

Elliot asked one of the fairies about Lucinda, only to find out that Lucinda already left about an hour ago before he arrived. He then asked where to find Lucinda and was told that Lucinda herself was somewhere living in Lamia. Elliot asked Benny, Mandy's boyfriend was now a talking book, to show him Lucinda. Elliot noticed Lucinda was getting an FWI aka flying while intoxicated by the guards. To Elliot's dismay, he decided to go and check on you.

Meanwhile, Slannen and Robin noticed a giant drumstick. He decided to take it by climbing up the table.

"Wait, I wouldn't dare if I were you." warned Robin.

"C'mon, what could possibly go wrong?" he began to climb up, but he was attacked by a giant who just farted.

Robin laughed after seeing him getting blown away off the table. Slannen retched after smelling the giant's passing gas.

You, on the other hand, began to listen to Koopooduk's problems. His farms was sold by an unknown client.

"I'm sorry to hear that. I didn't know things were gone so bad. I promise first thing after my coronation, I help you buy your farms back." you reassured the giant.

"I'll hold you to that."

Elliot noticed you talking with Koopooduk and made a promise with him.

"Sorry to interrupt." he apologized.

"No problem. We were done," He smiled at Elliot and said, "That's a fine young lady you have here."

"Oh, she's not fine. I mean, mine... She is fine. Never mind." Elliot replied as Koopooduk left. "So, have you seen Slannen and Robin? We have to go. My godmother's on some kind of bender."

"What? We can't leave yet," you replied. "You have to stay for the party. It'll be fun."

"Ok... I'll stay."

You noticed his changing of mind as you said, "I understand your descision, but you don't have to stay. I don't want you do anything you don't want to."

Elliot stared at you and said, "Thank you, (Y/n). For everything. So I'll see you around?"

He then began to leave, but you didn't want him to leave.

"But to be honest, I really want you to stay for a while..."

Elliot stopped and turned around.

"I guess one more night wouldn't hurt."

You smiled as you had a chat with him.

"So you're looking for your godmother Lucinda?"

"Well... She was supposed to be here and I have no idea where she is now," Elliot explained. "I need to find out because..."

Elliot then paused as he almost began to tell you why. He couldn't tell you because he made a promise not to tell his secret.

With that, he lied to you, "Because I miss her."

"Did you think of trying the hall of records?" you asked.

"No."

"Back at the castle, we have every year's census," you explained. "It's not open to everyone, but I may pull a few strings."

Elliot never knew that you would let him use the hall of records in order to find Lucinda.

"(Y/n). I don't know how to tell you what that would mean to me."

"Then it's settled. Tomorrow we're going to Lamia." you smiled.

Elliot was glad that you could lend him the census.

And then, Robin and Slannen climbed up the table you're both sitting on.

"I gotta hide. They're after me." Slannen said, who was afraid.

"Who?" you asked.

"The giants. They want him to sing." Robin explained.

"And I don't sing!" the elf exclaimed.

And then Koopooduk and the other giants confronted them; Slannen hid himself behind you and Elliot.

"There he is. There's our little entertainer," he said.

Elliot then explained to Koopooduk, "Mr. Koopooduk, I know you may find this hard to believe, but Slannen doesn't sing."

"Well, how about you then?"

"Me? Oh no. I couldn't..."

"Now, come on."

"Please, don't..." Elliot begged.

"Sing!" exclaimed Koopooduk, which Elliot suddenly accepted his request.

The spotlight appeared on Elliot. He began to sing slowly, but stopped for a moment as he looked back at you. You nodded to him as to urge him to keep going. He continued to sigh with the giant backup singers and the band.

As he sang, everyone cheered and he gave a little bow before leaving the spotlight. But one of the giants said, "Louder!"

"Yeah, louder!"

He complied and sang louder. You watched Elliot singing.

"Give it a little more soul!"

Which Elliot did as he sang more soul-like.

And then, another giant told Elliot to dance which he did. During the dance, the audience clapped and sang. And then, while twirling around, Elliot almost bumped into Robin, who then pushed him toward you. You suddenly caught Elliot in your arms, staring at him.

Elliot sang, "Somebody to... love!"

He smiled as he began to dipped you while embracing you in his arms. You smiled and accepted it. Slannen chuckled as Robin smiled while watching you and Elliot doing a slow dance. And then Slannen noticed a female blonde-haired giant waving at him. Slannen thought she was waving at someone when he turned around. The female giant giggle.

Robin shook her head and said, "I think someone has an admirer."

And then, the audience clapped their hands and sang until they gave Elliot the applause with cheer. Elliot broke the slow dance and gave a bow for the performance.

After the performance, you and Elliot watched Slannen talking with the female giant named Brumhilda as you both sat on the pillows near by the fireplace.

"I've seen weirder couples. None that immediately come to, but still," Elliot chuckled. "My stepbrother Hatty would die if he knew I was here."

"Hatty?" you replied.

"You know, he's the president of your fan club."

You then suddenly remembered meeting Hatty back then when you were with Elliot after escaping from your crazy boy fans. Hatty told Elliot to join his younger brother Olive on doing some errands. He even tried to flirt you before.

"Oh, Hatty. I remember. Thank you. I think I'll put a restraining order on him when I become Queen." you suggested.

Elliot laughed.

"You're so lucky, Elliot. I wish I had brothers and sisters..." You told Elliot about myself. "I'm the only child and the only family I have other than my uncle is my mother. Right now, she's on vacation. What about you?"

Elliot then replied, "My mother passed away."

You were shocked to hear it from Elliot and quickly apologized, "I'm sorry to hear that..."

"It's okay. You know, she used to sing me to sleep every night."

"Me too. Well, one time my father used to sing to me very loudly and very off-key. My mother didn't care how badly he sang. But still... I miss him." You then told Elliot about your uncle. "My uncle is not a bad person. He risked his life to save my father. While my mother's away, he still looks after me. I understand you don't like his politics much, but I'm sure he will handle the situation when I tell me about the giants."

"Yeah... or you could," Elliot suggested.

"Me?"

"It took a lot of courage for you to come here. I mean look at how you smoothed thing over. You're a natural at this."

"Wow... Is that almost a compliment?" you asked.

"Almost."

"You know what else? Tomorrow I'm going to ask my uncle to repel the elfin restrictions. If I have something to say about it, Slannen will have his day in court."

You became a little embarrassed after making a decision for tomorrow. Elliot smiled and said, "I think you're gonna be a great queen someday. Your father would have been proud."

You smiled, "Thank you."

You then stared at Elliot and said, "I think he would have really liked you. And maybe my mother will like you as well once she comes back from vacation."

He glanced away.

"Kiss me..." you said.

Elliot stared back at you and moved his face closer to yours.

"You know that's not an order."

"I know." he replied.

And so, you both gave a long passionate kiss. You knew that maybe you wanted to marry Elliot. You don't care if he's a commoner. And maybe you might tell your mother that you wanted to marry Elliot, not King Marius. You were sure that she will understand your decision.

The next day, you all arrived in the kingdom of Lamia. You entered inside your castle with Elliot. Robin knew that King Edgar disliked her and decided to go with her two merry men to her other merry men. However, Slannen couldn't join you because he wasn't allowed in the palace unless he's performing for the coronation, thus he was kicked out as he tried to claim a discrimination and infliction of bodily harmed.

You and Elliot entered inside the castle lobby where you suddenly confronted your crazy fans who were on a tour on your palace. Your fan club including Hatty and Olive noticed you with Elliot. You couldn't believe that you came in the wrong time and decided to escape with Elliot from your fan club. Your guards tried to prevent them from going after you except for Hatty and Olive.

You finally got away.

"What are they doing here?" Elliot asked after noticing his two stepbrothers. "Look, I don't mean to rush, but I need to find my godmother, and..."

Elliot noticed that Slannen wasn't with you two.

"Slannen, where is he?"

"My uncle will sent the guards to find him and don't worry. Don't forget. You're with the future queen." you reassured.

"(Y/n)?"

You then heard a familiar voice and noticed a woman wearing a royal attire fit for a queen.

"Mother?!" you were surprised that she suddenly returned home from her vacation. She then went towards you. "You came back."

"Of course I did. I don't want to miss the coronation after all." she replied as she gave you a motherly hug. She then noticed Elliot. "And who is this boy?"

"Mother, this is Elliot of Frell. I met him the other day."

Elliot then gave a bow as respect.

"Mother, I need to tell you something." you said.

"(Y/n), there you are."

You then noticed Edgar coming towards you.

"And your Majesty, you came back from your vacation." he also noticed your mother as well. "I trust your vacation was pleasant."

"Yes it is," your mother narrowed her eyes as if she didn't like Edgar at all.

Edgar then turned at you and said, "I've been looking all over for you."

And then, you noticed Heston the snake slithering around the candle stick.

"And who might this young gentleman be?" Heston asked.

"This is Elliot. Elliot of Frell," you introduced Elliot to your uncle and Heston. "Elliot, this is my Uncle Edgar. And this is his... talking pet Heston."

"Hey." greeted Heston.

Elliot was uncomfortable when meeting Heston.

"So, I trust your journey was pleasant?" Edgar questioned.

"Well, we had a little run-in with some ogres, but (Y/n) and her friends got the best of them." Elliot answered.

"You could have been killed," the ruler stated. "Ah well. One just has to grin and bear it, I always say. Grin and bear it."

When Edgar said that, Elliot began to grin and bear it just like that.

And then, Heston became suspicious seeing Elliot grinning like that.

And so, Edgar needed you in the moment because the crown maker request a fitting from you. But before you join your mother and uncle, you wanted to take Elliot to the hall of records.

"Yes, well, hop to it, then, both of you." said Edgar.

And then, Elliot began to hop. The Queen became surprised that Elliot literally hopped.

"Your friend is kinda special, (Y/n)." she said.

"Yeah, he is." you sheepishly chuckled as you joined Elliot by hopping as well.

The Queen began to head to your bed chambers as she would wait for you after you took him to the hall of records. After you did, you left Elliot in the said room and headed to your bed chambers, where you were doing a fitting for your coronation. You told him about Elliot's opinions and the giants' working condition. You even told him that you spoke with the giants and they're open for the negotiation.

Edgar stated that he will talk with the giants over the vegetable delivery, Heston laughed.

You told your uncle that it wasn't funny and you were serious. So he promised that you both will talk about it later after your coronation which you agreed. Also before your uncle began to leave, your mother began to mention something to you.

"(Y/n), you said you need to tell me something." she mentioned.

Edgar stopped and listened to you before leaving.

"Oh yes. Actually, I wanted to cancel my engagement with King Marius."

The Queen was surprised to hear you say that.

"Well, you do know I'm not the one who made this marriage engagment. Edgar did for you."

"I know. The reason I wanted to cancel is because... I'm going to ask him to marry me."

Edgar was baffled and said, "Who? This... this Elliot of Frell?"

"Yes, at the ball tonight," you nodded. "At the same time and in same place where my father married my mother. Right, Mother?"

Your mother slowly nodded, "Yes, that's right."

And then, you heard the ruckus outside of your bed chamber and Edgar left to find out what's going on.

After he left, your mother began to talk with you,"Are you sure you want to propose him in marriage, sweetie? Although I'm grateful with your decision but he's a commoner. When I was proposed by your father, I was the princess."

"I know, but I won't change my mind. He's different unlike other boys. He helped me to talk with the giants back then." you explained.

The Queen hesitated at first, but she knew that you wanted true love instead of a loveless marriage.

"If that's your decision, then I understand. I hope Elliot's a great man." the Queen smiled.

You smiled as well and hugged her.

"Thank you."

Later, as you began to get ready for the ball, your servant entered your chamber and gave you a letter.

It was from Elliot and it's not a happy letter as well.

It said, "Dear (Y/n), this is the hardest thing I've ever had to do and I hope you'll understand. We can't be together."

You were shocked from reading this letter. You continued reading to find out why Elliot couldn't be with you.

"I can't tell you why. Please believe that this is the only solution. I wish you the best. I really do believe you're going to be a great queen. Goodbye forever. Elliot."

As you're done reading this tearful letter, you muttered, "I can't believe you, Elliot..."

The letter made your heart broken and you stared at the window with forlorn.

Elsewhere, Elliot went to find Slannen who was with Robin and her merry men. Robin noticed the look on Elliot's face and asked him what's wrong, but he couldn't answer. Since he found Slannen and Robin, he began to make a request.

"This may sound a little strange, but there's something I need you two to do."

And so, they went outside of Lamia. On the field of so many flowers, there was an old tree. Slannen chained Elliot to the tree and locked the chains with the key. Robin and her merry gang stared at Elliot, speechless.

"You are one crazy dude, Elliot." she said, with her arms crossed.

"Okay. Now I need you guys to go back to the forest and rally all the elves and giants you can find." instructed the bound brunet.

The merry men were shocked to find out that Elliot wanted them to gather the mystical creatures.

"Rally the elves and giants?" said Little John. "Wonder why we need to do that."

Slannen realized why, much to his dismay.

"You want me to go back there?" he said.

"Yes, you'll need all the help you get," replied Elliot. "Someone has to get into the castle, find Benny and keep (Y/n) away from Edgar."

"Wait, what do mean "keep (Y/n) away from Edgar?" Sure, Edgar is the phony king of Lamia and he ignored all his subjects and their opinions. So what's going on?" Robin demanded a reason for why they needed to protect you from King Edgar.

"Yeah, what's going on?" agreed Slannen.

Elliot groaned and said, "I already told you, I can't tell you. But if you don't, you might very well be stuck singing "Kumbaya" for the rest of your life!"

Slannen couldn't believe his ears and exclaimed, "Fine! Into the forest of certain of death walks Slannen and friends."

And so, Slannen, Robin, and her merry gang left Elliot all by himself.

"Thanks!" shouted Elliot.

"Yeah, whatever."

Elliot stood still, all chained up to the tree, all day and night long until he heard the clock tower. The time was now 11:30 pm. Thirty minutes til midnight. Elliot felt his feet moving, pulling the tree off from the ground. He knew that it was time when someone gave him an order with his obedience. But this one was not normal.

The reason why he wanted to stay away from you was because King Edgar gave Elliot a dreadful order. To kill you! Edgar ordered Elliot to kill you at midnight right after he would accept your proposal in marriage.. He was also given the dagger from Edgar. In order to prevent him from making a murderous attempt, he ended up chained up the tree, but it was no used.

"Slannen, Robin... please hurry up." he begged.

As he continued to resist, he noticed something coming out from the night sky or rather somoene. A dark-skinned woman wearing pink fell down and landed on the flower field with an ouch. She then stood up after the sudden landing. She looked around and realized something.

"What the...? This isn't the salad bar at Brelly's." she said.

Elliot stared at her and quickly recognized her.

"Lucinda! Lucinda!" he shouted out for her.

Lucinda heard Elliot and noticed him all chained up.

"Oh my goodness," Lucinda was shockly surprised to see him in chains, walking towards him. "Do I know you, child?"

"Elliot of Frell. You gave me a gift." explained the boy.

Lucinda heard his name and finally remembered, "Oh! Yes, I remember you. The obiedent one."

"I'm so happy to see you! I have been looking everywhere for you." Elliot then requested his godmother, "I need you to take the gift back."

Lucinda was shocked to hear him saying that and replied, "Take it back? I don't think so."

"It's not that I'm not grateful for the gift. I really am," explained the brunet. "But because of the gift, I'm about to do something terrible to this girl I really like and might even love..."

"Boy, you out of your mind. Everyone loves my gifts."

Lucinda began to leave, but Elliot stopped her from doing so.

"Lucinda! Wait! Lucinda, I'm begging you! I will do anything you ask. So please take it back!" he begged.

Lucinda was so shocked that she realized that Elliot didn't like her gift.

"You don't like my gift? Fine. Get rid of it yourself. Don't blame me for your problems," she suggested Elliot what to do with the gift of obedience before asking, "Did I chain your butt up to this tree, huh?"

"Well..."

"Huh?"

"But you..."

Lucinda interrupted him as she held her finger at him, as if saying "just a minute". And then, she lowered her finger and pointed it at Elliot before she answered, "No."

Elliot sighed in dismay.

"And, in fact, just to prove what a gem I am..." Lucinda crossed her arms and gave a confident smile. "I'll unchain you."

To Elliot's shock, he begged Lucinda not to free him from the chains, but it was already too late. She used her magic, removing the chains completely. Elliot tried to prevent himself by clinging onto the tree.

"Aren't I fabulous?" Lucinda realized something as if she found out why Elliot was outside of Lamia. "Now look at you. A nice guy like you should be at the ball."

"What?!"

"Go get down with the princess."

"No, I can't go!" he exclaimed, still clinging to the old tree.

Lucinda stared at Elliot's attire and said, "Well, not dressed like that."

Lucinda then used her magic on Elliot, turning his peasant clothes into an attire that made him look like an actual prince.

Elliot stood up, wearing a white jacket with opera gloves and long pants with matching boots.

"Now that's what I'm talking about." Lucinda commented.

Elliot was somewhat dizzy as he received support by placing his hand on the tree.

"Okay... That really hurt."

Since Lucinda freed Elliot, Elliot, with the power the obedience, headed to the castle against his will.

"Give, give, give." said Lucinda, as she finally began to leave as Elliot tried to resist himself from going to the coronation ball, but it was no used. She then turned her head at Elliot and shouted, "You're welcome."

Poor Elliot. Elliot couldn't stop himself from going to the ball to make an attempt to kill you under Edgar's orders. And in order to stop himself from doing so, he needed to find out how to get rid of the gift of obedience on his own without Lucinda's help. But will he do that before it's too late?
I put the reader-chan's mother, the Queen, finding her and Elliot of Frell in the castle from her vacation. Also, for those who played Shall we Date?, Elliot's formal attire is based on Cindo from Shall we Date? Fairy Tales.
