Yu MizunoxReader: Pink and Black Love

You were a big fan for a Sanrio character, Kuromi. Kuromi was a white bunny wearing an outfit that made her look like a black devil. You really liked Kuromi because of her personality. Kuromi was like a rebel. Not only that, Kuromi was also My Melody's rival.

"You will find someone who has a My Melody key." it said.

You were holding a pink fortune that told you about your soulmate.

"My Melody key..." you muttered.

You secretly knew who has it. You stared at the handsome student who was with two female students as you sat down at your desk. Who knew that your soulmate was actually a boy? A boy who likes cute things? That couldn't be.

"Yu Mizuno..." you muttered.

You narrowed your (e/c) eyes at him and Mizuno caught your eye. When he did, he gave you a smile as he waved back at you. You gave a disgusted look on your face and made a harrumph before not making eye contact with Mizuno again. The girls who were with him thought that you actually hated him. But you knew that's not reason.

After school, you went to a Sanrio store where your best friend was working there.

"How's finding your soulmate?" she said.

You gave a silent look on the face.

"What's wrong?"

You stared at your friend and answered, "I know who likes My Melody..."

"Really? Who?"

"Yu Mizuno..."

"EH?!" your best friend was so surprised as she couldn't believe her ears.

"You mean your soulmate is a Sanrio boy!?"

"Sanrio boy?" you replied as if you never heard it before.

Your friend Yume began to teach you who are the Sanrio Boys. The Sanrio Boys are a group of boys who like Sanrio mascots. For example, Seiichiro Minamoto is a Sanrio fan of Cinnamoroll. You were so shocked to find out a school president likes Cinnamoroll.

"Sanrio Boys..."

"So... now that you found your soulmate, you need to confront him." Yume said.

"No." you bluntly refused.

"What?! Why not?"

You didn't want to answer. You knew that Mizuno was so popular and the girls from your school. But you didn't want to make contact with Mizuno. While the girls thought you hate Mizuno, you were like Kuromi and Mizuno is My Melody. You sighed to yourself as you refused to accept the fact that Mizuno was your soulmate.

And so, you left. Little did you know was that Yume met two Sanrio Boys in the flesh.

"Welcome!" greeted Yume.

Mizuno with his friend Shunsuke entered inside the Sanrio shop. Yume quickly recognized the short ponytail boy and secretly smirked.

"Excuse me. Would you like to try a fortune?"

The next day, the lunch had started at school. You decided to eat your bento. You were a great cook and you even made a character bento. You opened your bento box and smiled in joy.

"Kuromi, you're too cute to be eaten..." you giggled, staring at the rice that had an image of Kuromi.

You decided to eat the Kuromi rice for last as you were about to eat tamagoyaki first. That was when you heard someone, "So you like Kuromi?"

"Huh?"

You turned around to see Mizuno standing behind the bench you were sitting on. You were startled to see Mizuno and quickly moved away from him.

"What the?! Don't scare me like that!" you shouted at him.

Mizuno then apologized to you and gave you a big smile.

"I'm glad it was actually you." he said.

You were confused when you heard Mizuno say that.

"What are you talking about?"

Mizuno took out something from his pocket and showed a pink paper with a message. You recognized that it was a fortune.

You read his fortune and it was said, "Find a girl with a Kuromi bento."

You couldn't believe Mizuno got a fortune from Yume.

"Did you make that bento, (Y/n)-chan?" he asked.

You just nodded since you did made that bento yourself.

"Let me guess, you want me to make a My Melody bento." you said, knowing about Mizuno's favorites.

"Wow, you took those words out of my mouth." Mizuno was so surprised to hear it from you.

"Well, you're not the only one who got the fortune." you then showed Mizuno your fortune.

"Eh? I was your soulmate?"

You nodded, "But yours is My Melody while mine's Kuromi. Kuromi herself is My Melo's rival and she doesn't like her. So I can't accept the fact that you're my soulmate."

Mizuno gave you a pout and didn't want you to have a bad relationship with him.

"Then in that case, let's have a date!"

"Eh?!"

And so after school, you and Mizuno went on a date. You all entered inside a Sanrio shop and Yume was delighted to see you with Mizuno. She just smiled, much to your dismay. You realized, finding out that Mizuno went to this very shop before. That was after you just already left the other day. You couldn't blame Yume because Mizuno was a customer back then and he got a fortune as well.

Then, Mizuno bought a Kuromi bracelet just for you as a gift.

You blushed and meekly thanked him.

Also, in return, he made a request for his lunch. You knew that he wanted a My Melody character bento. As Mizuno took you back to your home residence, you watched him leave. The next morning, you woke up early in the morning to make a My Melody bento just for Mizuno, your soulmate. You put your heart on making this very bento and you finally finished making the special bento box.

You sighed as you gave yourself a wry smile as you were thinking about him.

"I can't believe he's too cute to be hated." you muttered.
